The Hall of Faces is my own creation (MOC) life-sized LEGO rendition of the wall of cubbies keeping faces for impersonation for the assassin’s guild of HBO’s Game of Thrones television series. It is a companion piece to my Lego Throne.

The show’s Hall of Faces is referenced in show posters featuring cast members and was parodied with those actors on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The original set of face mosaics shown in this image are of members of my household, generated with https://lego-art-remix.com. I am building Faceplate, a customized generator at https://faceplate.me, to crowdsource future mosaics but am still tuning the algorithm and the uncanny vally of the virtual Hall of Faces.

Version 1

Immediately after exhibiting at BrickCon 2025 in September 2025, I was considering my next project when my friends Stephan and Scott hit upon the show's Hall of Faces as an ideal successor to the throne and window.

I figured the face mosaics would be the riskiest part of the build, and so immediately started taking pictures of faces to cast and putting them into https://lego-art-remix.com to generate mosaics.
